Think about dropping TXC completely and try another editor. There is TeXworks which is shipped with the common TeX distributions.

Honest to god, I am totally confused by you advocating TeXworks that much. Why do you do it? :)
OS: Win 7 64-bit LaTeX: MikTeX 2.9 64-bit Editor: TXC 1 RC1

Many reasons.
  • cross-platform
  • easy configurable
  • shipped with the common TeX distributions
  • not so buggy, thus less stressful
  • not overloaded with rarely used functions

  • Works with MikTeX/Install packages on the fly/Ask me first
  • No need for an external PDF viewer
  • Magnifying lens in PDF viewer
  • SyncTeX included, works ootb
