Think about dropping TXC completely and try another editor. There is TeXworks which is shipped with the common TeX distributions.

Honest to god, I am totally confused by you advocating TeXworks that much. Why do you do it?

Many reasons.

cross-platform
easy configurable
shipped with the common TeX distributions
not so buggy, thus less stressful
not overloaded with rarely used functions

No need for an external PDF viewer
