beamer, media9 | Embed Video in Presentation

Post by akatende »

I have been using the beamer class for the last ten months. However, I'm still puzzled on how to embed a video in the presentation with media9.

For an adequate problem description and in order to avoid guesses and random shots please prepare a proper minimal example that contains all necessary but only relevant information in form of code.

And you did already take a look at the media9 manual?

I understand, you are still puzzled, but where's the actual problem?

And you expect others to write this example from scratch or what do you think would be the next step?

It would be good if you would say
  • what you tried
  • which error you got
if you would like that somebody fixes the problem. Otherwise, for such a general question without a concrete issue, the media9 documentation would be a good start.

I am still puzlled Stefan, do u have a mini template showing how to embed a video, I could just download that then I try compiling it, if it works, then I will have to look at that code, otherwise everything I try fails :(

As Stefan already mentioned, we need to see what you have tried so far to have a decent starting point. Otherwise this discussion remains academic. You have already been asked for a self-contained and minimal example. In case of errors please extract the corresponding error messages from the log file (*.log) or attach the complete file here by upload to the forum server. For some reason you still didn't provided this essential information. Hence you didn't enable us to help you. So what do you expect us to do now?
