Build project error
I have just installed MikTek 2.8 in my new computer with Windows 7, and Adobe Reader 9.5. When I try to compile the project and view the output I get the error "Cannot execute command". I read that other people had the same problem, but I can't find any solution. Can anyone please help? Thanks!
NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.
And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Build project error
welcome to the board!
As you said, this is a common error message, I have seen it often here in the forum. Have a look, for example, at
- TeXnicCenter "cannot execute the command"
- TeXnicCenter: DocOpen("%bm.pdf")Cannot execute the command
- Adobe Reader 10 and viewing error
- Adobe 10 - Takes Two Attempts to open any Files
- Texniccenter + Adobe Reader 9 Problem
- Acrobat DDE commands for Latex=>PS=>PDF profile
- Error while opening a created pdf-file
- Cannot output to PDF!
- why Texniccenter does not work
- Can't generate pdf file
- No PDF Output

Re: Build project error
And if a screenshot is needed, don't put it into a PDF file. Image files in several formats can be uploaded very easy.
