Kile ⇒ revtex4-1 | Class File not found in the TeX System

Dear all,

I'm using Kile under Debian.

I have installed the revtex4-1 package following AIP suggestions:

• the "bibtex" files in a "revtex" folder placed in:

  Code: Select all

  /usr/share/texmf-texlive/bibtex/bst

• the "source" files in a "revtex" folder placed in:

  Code: Select all

  /usr/share/texmf-texlive/source/latex

• the ".cls" files in a "revtex" folder placed in:

  Code: Select all

  /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex

• the "doc" files in a "revtex" folder placed in:

  Code: Select all

  /usr/share/texmf-texlive/doc

• therefore, I have updated the tex list with the command:

  Code: Select all

  #/usr/share/texmf-texlive/mktexlsr

• therefore I have run Kile, but the system shows the following error:

  revtex4-1.cls not found

  .

thank you to give me, suggestions, links , whatever could help me. I have spent a lot of time on the net but the (few) things that I have found do not work.

Install texlive-publishers by using following command in the terminal:

sudo apt-get install texlive-publishers
