Editing the Front Matter of a Thesis Shell

Post by oddiseas »

I am using Scientific Workplace (SWP) for a literature review to see if it is easier than latex. I have used one of the thesis shells provided. I cannot figure out how to edit the front matter, with my details and get it to compile. Every time i do, then i cant compile a PDF. If someone can figure this out i could use some help. I'm using the shell "University of New South Wales".

Hi,

welcome to the board! Perhaps the information here was not enough that a reader could provide an answer. You could provide more details, such as the error messages or the .log file.

Be aware that not many users here work with SWP, since it's a commercial product. Regarding the LaTeX part of it, we could help of course without SWP.

I was able to duplicate your problem but I could not determine the cause. I suggest you place your post on the MacKichan forum: http://forum.mackichan.com/.
