Multiple year

I need to cite an article which was published in a "Winter 2010/11" issue. However, if I enter "2010/11" as the year in BibTex, only 2010 appears. How can I make it display correctly?

This is not an appropriate date for publication to be given in a bibliography. Just take 2010 as the year.
