Old Documents not compilable after Update
I recently updated to MikTeX 2.9. Now my files, which rendered OK with MikTeX 2.7, no longer do so. I'm having trouble with files using the packages PSTricks or TikZ. I edit with WinEdt by the way. Is there a simple fix for this? Thanks.
NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.
And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

if you post a minimal code which creates your drawbacks, I may replicate it with my MikTex 2.9 installation.

It could simply be a missing package, for example, or after the update a package might work somehow differently.

Re: Old Documents not compilable after Update
I noticed that the YAP for 2.8 is different to that for 2.9. Maybe this is the problem. I can't believe I'm the only one experiencing this problem and I'm surprised this is not a known issue.

In that case, the .log file would be useful.ojones wrote:I'm having problems with all my files and so don't see the point of posting specific code.
