TeXShop ⇒ Typesetting Console not responding

Hello,

I just wiped my Mac and re-installed Lion, TeXShop and MacTeX. I pulled up my .tex documents intending to work on them, however, when I hit typeset, the console comes, but nothing happens. The console doesn't respond at all.

Any ideas?? Please.
