Text Formatting ⇒ Weird Format of Paragraph Heading

Hi all,

Got a daft question regardind sectioning commands. I'm using \section, \subsection, \subsubsection and \paragraph. Up to \subsubsection everything is OK but once I define \paragraph, the format changes and the text is run-in after the heading rather than appearing in the next line. It is driving me mad. I would appreciate if someone help me. Thank you.


P.S. The document class is report.

This is the default behaviour of the \paragraph heading and not unusual for this heading level. Which format do you expect?

The format of headings can be modified by the titlesec package. Since this has been discussed here quite often, a Forum Search should yield ready-to-use solutions.

And I'm quite sure that others who come here (e. g. by search engine) are also interested in that solution. So, please post a complete and run capable solution or at least give a direct link. Otherwise this thread becomes useless and frustrating for those who search a solution and don't really find one here.
