Click on a word brings a picture...

Post by Cham »

Is it possible to make the PDF document in a way that clicking on some colored word brings a large picture (poping-up) in the PDF viewer ? If so, how ?

There are packages for this purpose:
  • fancytooltips
  • cooltooltips
  • pdfcomment

Can you give a simple example of a popping picture in LaTeX by clicking on a simple word ?

The above documentations are very cryptic. I don't want to add comments, arrows and other fancy buttons (I can already do it with the PDF viewer anyway).

I would have work through the documentation as well, as I did not use tootips yet. If you just need the popop feature, I guess you can skip most of the documentation.

Yes, I just need to add a popping picture. Nothing fancy.

The docs are pretty complicated and I know nothing about JAVA scripts... (and for security reasons, I would prefer not to add any JAVA code in my document)
