amsart | Which is the used Font?

Post by Akuma »

I was just wondering which font was the document class amsart using? It appears to be slightly different than Computer Modern, or perhaps it's just using different spacings?

Is there a way to make the article class looks like amsart? (I don't like the section headings on the amsart class)

Thank you!

Without an additional font package loaded, the amsart class uses the same font as any other class. That is to say Computer Modern (CM). You can check out the used fonts by the document properties in your PDF viewer.
