Wrong binding margins with book
I tried to create a book and a Koma-Script book document, and I noticed the binding margins are incorrect. The space for binding is set to left for odd pages and vice versa. I tried also to reset my settings deleting %AppData%\Lyx20 folder, but nothing.
This is my Lyx test file: and this is the result I have:

Hi Lucas,
would you please upload the files as attachment here to the forum post?
We don't like to work with externally hosted documents, no dropbox or rapidshare or megaupload etc.
Thanks,
Stefan

Re: Wrong binding margins with book
How did you specify the space for the binding? In the LyX file I don't see any binding correction value. So the margins are default, which means smaller inner and bigger outer margin.

I didn't specified any BCOR, the settings are the default ones. Did you have the same output as in my previous attached pdf?

Re: Wrong binding margins with book
I don't use LyX, so I don't have it installed and did not test your output. However, I read the file, and the PDF seems to be as expected.
As you did not specify BCOR, the binding correction is 0pt, the default value. The class does not expect that there would be binding loss by default. So you should specify a BCOR value.
Note, the inner margin (without BCOR) should remain half as big as the outer margin. BCOR would be added to the inner margin.

Wrong binding margins with book
Emh. Ok, I misunderstood the image in koma-book manual, page 21. I thought the default margins is for binding, and BCOR is for extra binding. I don't understand why a default binding is not added by default: it is a book. Anyway, now I can proceed further
