Including graphics changes beamer colors

Post by tyler.whitehouse »

i am making a beamer presentation and including adobe illustrator drawings.

on slides with no drawing the heading has a slight purple color, but with a drawing the purple gets darker.

it looks bad.

how do i stop this?

Hi tyler.whitehouse,

could you post a minimal working example that shows this behaviour?

Does your graphics use transparency effects? Loading PNGs or PDF with transparency sometimes trigger a color shift when using Adobe Reader (something to do with interpretation of color spaces). If I remember correctly, this issue has been fixed in the latest version of pdftex. If you have Acrobat Professional one workaround is to flatten the document.
