Scaling horizontally only

I have a finished portrait book, page layout using {geometry} and output using {hyperref}. Now I would like to have it output as landscape, but with 100 per cent scaling vertically and 80 per cent scaling horizontally. I can use magnification to scale both dimensions, but is there any way to produce the output I am seeking?
