BibTeX, biblatex and biber ⇒ natbib | Author-Year Citation

Hi,

I want to ask two questions related to reference citation using BibTeX and the "natbib" package.

1. I want to cite only the first author name plus year i.e. [Alpha2011]? All the styles which i have checked till now, cite either the name of both authors in case of two authors i.e. [Alpha and Beta, 2011] or first author et al. in case of 3 or more authors i.e. [Alpha et al. , 2011]. So can you please help me out in this regard.
2. The reference list at the end of document should also show the same label and then the reference. i.e.
   [Alpha2011] Alpha, Beta and Gamma. "Article name", month, year.
