Inverse Search via Double-click

Post by WebFritzi »

Hi all,

I have been told that it is possible with TeXMaker to perform inverse search out of PDF files. Since this is not possible with TeXnicCenter (at least not with Adobe Reader) I checked out TeXMaker.

It works fine, but I am really pissed off that it does not seem to be possible to do this via a dubble click. Only with right click and then a click in the popup menu or with CTRL+click. Isn't this mess configurable?

Thanks for answers.

But this is a problem of the Ad0be Reader, which does not support the SyncTeX technology. Use the Sumatra PDF Viewer instead. A Forum Search will yield solutions about configuration with TeXnicCenter (TXC). As an alternative consider to use TeXworks, which is shipped with both TeX Live and MiKTeX.

Best regards and welcome to the board
