General ⇒ PowerPoint to LaTeX Conversion

Hello!

I did a huge document under googledocs (it is a PowerPoint presentation). And I would like also to share it. Because it is so big I would like to convert it to latex. For easy distribution and also for eye pleasing (besides I suck at choosing fonts). Now the document has a lot of images. I was trying to use LyX it seems not very fit. What would you recommend to me? On the last note I still have to do some edition like put numeration and an index of themes and a bibliography and check grammatical errors too. The document has more than 100 pages, mainly it is 12 pages of raw text but has a lot of images to ease up the reading. Plus at the end it has a nice poem too. (The document is in English, but because I am Portuguese I decided to put a poem in the end from Luis de Camões, because I thought it was pretty much in the theme of the document.) The document is to share on the internet. For virtually millions of people to read. So I want it nice and pleasing to read. Thank you so much!

PS: I am using Linux Mint 12 (Ubuntu 11.10 based).

I found some literature on RTFBeamer. This is a start, and hopefully, you can go from there.
