"dvips.def" used when set for PDFLaTeX

Post by stevegaarder »

I have two Macs with TeXShop installed. I am trying to compile a document with a letterhead. Both are set to use PDFLaTeX, and the graphic for the letterhead is a pdf file. One system works fine; the other does not include the graphic. In the first case, the console shows that pdftex.def is being used; the one that does not work is invoking dvips.def. Why would this be the case when both systems are set to use PDFLaTeX?

thanks,

Steve Gaarder

We could do to see the log for the problematic LaTeX run.
