Text flow around Figures with non-rectangular Contures

Post by JuacoLC »

Does someone knows a LaTeX package with which it is possible to let flow text around a figure that has a non rectangular form? So, the picture might have an arbitrary form, say as a circle, an ellipse, a polygon with inclined edges, or any other free form realized with applications as Gimp.

This kind of requirement is not strictly "scientifical", however very common in other fields.

I have tried with packages as subfig and wrapfig, but they seem to be limited to the common figure forms.

Thanks in advance for any hint,
JuacoLC
