Is there a LaTeX command for beginning a list of remarks as the following:

Remarks 1.2.3.

1. This is subremark 1

2. This is subremark 2

3. This is subremark 3

The command that I know is:

Code: Select all

\begin{rem}
...
\end{rem}

but this one gives me:

Remark 1.2.3. 1. This is subremark 1

2. This is subremark 2

3. This is subremark 3

of course I should write the numbering!

rem is not a standard environment. Could you add what package you got it from? Looking at your desired output, a simple enumerate environment seems to be fine for me. If it isn't, please tell us why.
