Format Table of Contents

Post by CitiVin »

I tried to find an answer to this myself, but wasn't successful at it, so I hope someone can help me out here.

I need to change my TOC so that the different levels are offset from each other. Currently, the first offset occurs on the third level (e.g. 1.1.1) while first and second level (e.g. 1 ; 1.1 ) are displayed the same.

Is there a relatively easy way to do this?

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi,

that depends on the document class you are using. Which one is it?
Also, you could post your sample LyX document (a copy without real content) as attachment here, so we could work it out with you.

Thanks for your reply Stefan.

I'm using the article (paper) document class. I also tried to attach a sample file, but the site says that the .lyx extension is not allowed?

Thank you very much for your help,

Put it into a RAR or ZIP archive and then attach it.
