General ⇒ textopo | Helices in Loops

Hello
I was wondering if there is any way to have a helical structure extend beyond the membrane into the cytoplasm using textopo? Is it possible to show helices in the loops? I was thinking I would just have to enter the helix as is, remove the membrane, and then re-draw it in myself. Please let me know if there is any other way to do this. Some of the helices are longer than 36 residues, so I'm not sure how to get past this.
