Rule Paragraphs

Post by ALdaperan »

I don't know how to describe exactly my issue, but I'll make a try.

I am writing a text on LyX, and I am using as module "report" . I customize page margins but when I am writing paragraphs, some sentences aren't ruled and some words are not in the same line.

Because I suppose the you will not understand exactly what I mean, I attach a screenshot from the PDF I created with LyX:

From a PDF that is created with office there is a tool (ruler I think) with witch you can make the paragraphs in order to be all the words in the same line. For example see this screenshot:

How can I fix this issue? Sorry for my description but I made my best

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

It would be very kind if you mention when doing a crossposting [1]*. This is only fair because it prevents others from double efforts and waste of time.

You got already answer there which you accepted. Why don't you share this information? Do you want the users here (who don't know that) to keep on solving an already sorted problem?

* According to the rules you are obliged to do so.
