LyX ⇒ LyX fails to export to PDF/DVI/PS etc. - tables to blame?

I have created a document in LyX but I cannot get it to export at all, in any format.

Tiny chunks of the document copied-and-pasted into a new document export okay, but not the whole document itself. I've tried to create a minimal test case but I cannot for the life of me work out what the problem is. I haven't changed any of the commands (pdflatex, dvipdfm etc.).

It seems like tables *might* be to blame but I've no idea why.

Anyone else suffered the same problem, have any idea what I can do?

From your description I have no idea yet. Perhaps somebody could help easier if you would post the lyx file (maybe reduced to a minimal example) as attachment here.

I would post the error message if there were one! Unfortunately it's just that nothing at all happens.

if you had posted one lyx file that doesn't work for you I would have tested it.
Without code and without error message we don't have enough information to help.

I've attached a minimal test case that won't preview, export or print to this post. I've changed the .lyx to .txt

I have solved the problem! LyX did not like the minus symbol I was using. If I replace the minus symbol with a hyphen it works fine.
