Get the replaced File

Sir,
My files got replaced by a blank file when I changed the name of the chapter to another name. Is there any way that I can retrieve the old files back. It has many contents in it. Please someone help

I sympathize with you when doing a crossposting for the first time because you didn't know it better. But doing this repeatedly after you have been asked not do so with reference to the rules is not very kind [1]. And it is not funny either.

Furthermore this is off topic because not related to LaTeX (even if it has happened when working with it). Restoring deleted files is a matter of your OS. Overwritten files are mostly lost forever.
