Navigator does not show all Labels

Post by NoamDuke »

Hi,

I've just started using TXC1 RC1. How do I use the navigator properly? It only shows label for equations (align, etc.), sections and images but not the labels I set e.g. at the beginning of a theorem.

This would be very useful as I write smaller docs that are structured in theorems, lemmas, etc. rather then in sections.

Also: Is the TXC2 alpha worth a try?

Thanks for your help!

regards
C

I guess that TXC only shows labels that it reads from the *.aux file. Some labels seem to be neglected. I don't know if any other editor features what you want.

Yes. But there are also many other LaTeX Editors you could try.

Hi,

thank you. So it just comes with txc?

I used to use Winedt wich just listed all the labels.
I was suprised at how TXC handled labels...

Maybe I'll get back to winedt, or just try smth else.

Ty again.

Unfortunately I can't tell you more. It's been a long time since I used TXC. I now use another editor (TeXworks) as well as another OS (Linux).
