D&D 3.5 Book Formatting and LaTeX

Post by Dictum Mortuum »

So, here's the deal: I'm a fan of d&d 3.5 and want to compile a number of unofficial resources in a single pdf 'book'. However, I want it to feel 'original', so I thought that the best way to do this is by adopting the official book template.

Unfortunately, I won't link to show you people what the template is like, because of legal matters, but you can easily check it out by googling 'complete arcane'.

So far I've got this site which contains most of the fonts and I've got two background images for the 'main' book pages (here and here).

So far I've managed to set one of the above images as backgrounds and tried to use fancyhdr to edit the pagestyle, but I've got only a passing knowledge of LaTeX.

For starters, does anyone know how to set the page number to the yellow circle at the bottom of the page or if that's possible?
