Hey there!
i'am working on a presentation using the beamer class. I noticed that the columns environment split the frame vertically in two or more parts.
I'm looking for a way to split the frame horizontally. I have the figures on top and the text below in block environments. Unfortunatelly each figure has a different size and the block as well. So switch from frame to frame it looks like the graphics are jumping around. I was wondering if there is a way to split the frame at a definite point, so i can put the figure environment in the upper part and the block environment in the lower part ???
I hope anybody can help out!

Re: beamer | Horizontal Splitting of Frames
ok, solved. I found out the minipage environment works perfectly well for this. So i can create one environment for the upper part and one for the lower part.
How do i set this post as solved ??
