Default Directory for saving Files

Post by h9uest »

Hi there:

I'd like to save all my files (.tex, .aux, etc) on Drive E, but every time I create a new .tex document and save it, the popout window set the default window to be a deep directory under Drive C, something under "appdata" and all the way down to "example" folder.

It's quite annoying to reselect the path every time. Is there a way to configure WinEdt so that it will remember my last saving directory and pop it out next time I do a save for a new document?

Thanks.
