Using Xindy in LyX

Post by Wojtek Szymczak »

Hello,

I'm trying to deal with non-latin characters in index of my book. One option would be to adjust them all manually, but the book has over 500 pages so I am looking for a more efficient solution (I'm using Windows).

I read that the "xindy" package can tackle this problem, but even though I read through its manual, I have no idea how to use it an implement in LyX preamble. Does anyone have any advice on it?

Also, is this (http://www.latex-community.org/forum/vi ... f=5&t=5383) the right way to install the package for LyX to use it?

Thanks in advance!

Wojtek
