Left Alignment for '\footcite' Footnotes

Post by user8685 »

I'm currently using BibLatex with with a custom citation style. The footnotes created by the \footcite command are justified. This is bad, especially for URL's, even if they are broken correctly.

Is it possible to left-align those footnotes? I tried putting a \begin{flushleft} in the style (.cbx), but that resulted in empty lines/paragraph spacing in the footer.

I looked through the documentation and searched the web and this forum, but I could not find any description on the isse. I mean it can't be that hard, can it?
