I am having trouble isntalling siunitx package. It used to work before but after I updated my miktex it doesn't work anymore. I have also installed expl3 and xpackages. I don't understand what else I can do :(

Post your log, perhaps? The support packages for siunitx have recently been re-arranged on CTAN. You will need to make sure you have 'l3kernel' and 'l3packages' installed. (These have been renamed from 'expl3' and 'xpackages'.)

:( i ended up un-installing my miketex and re-installing a different version alltogether. I went on miketex website and the new miketex file is "setup-2.9.4193" instead of "setup-2.9.3959" i guess that's where my problem was fixed.

Very unlikely that this was the fix. I did the latest update with the older version of the MiKTeX Net Installer and had no problems.

My previous version of miketex was giving me errors when i loaded the siunitx package and i tried doing what the author did in the first 2 posts but It did not work especially using texhash or whatever and it loads for like 1 second and automatically closes and nothing had changed so i got fed up :( but atleast whatever was causing the problem. It is fixed now and i can use the package.

A simple update of your system would have been enough. Such things save time contrary to such sledgehammer methods.
