I want to produce a nice and fancy titlepage for my book, so I'm looking for templates. All I've found on the web are simple and horrible examples, except this one (which isn't fancy enough for me) :

More specifically, I want to draw a double frame all around the page, and use some fancy font for the title.

The document should be single page only, just to make the titlepage and to export it to PDF. The PDF document would be integrated into my book document, using the following command :

Here's what I try to do. This is the old title page I made using a word processor, a very long time ago. The font isn't right and that page needs to be redone in LaTeX.

How to do that ? Any idea ?

I suggest the »titleRB« example from the document I mentioned earlier. Necessary adaptations should be no problem for you.

A tricky thing is that some of them don't work unless you define some commands given on pp. 45-46 of titlepages.pdf -- you could copy all of that junk if need be, but if there's one you're interested in, let us know and we can help figure out what is needed and what isn't.

You don't need to be an expert to read a document and do some Copy & Paste. Furthermore you should be a little bit more proactive and try things on your own. Taking only provided code will have no learning effect. So you will never manage to create a document independently. This is a complete example for \titleRB.

is nice, but is there a way to make the inner frame thicker ?

Also, how can I use some font (just for the title) that I have installed in my system, and which isn't part of the LaTeX distribution ?
