Annotating figures

Post by lookin »

Hi,
I have a 'ps' file 300dpi that I created with some software. It is not a4 or letter. Without changing its shape, I want to add annotations to it in Latex e.g equations, arrows etc.

I also need this figure in pdf format but in the same shape and annotations.

I did use pstricks, graphicx and auto-pst-pdf. But the final page size has increased to 8.27 x 11.69 in.

Thanks!

So did you specify your paper size to be exactly that of the original document? This may, for example, be done conveniently using the geometry package.
I'm using pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian).
