Using LaPrint with Texmaker

Dear Community,

I have a question to the use of Matlab figures made via LaPrint with TeXMaker.

I searched a long time and i found that it isn't possible to use LaPrint figures with pdflatex. Is that true?
Everytime I tried it, the tags on the figure haven't been replaced. I tried the same code with TeXShop and it worked.
Is it possible to run TeXMaker with normal latex and not pdflatex?
