Document Classes ⇒ Beamer Presentation Question

This is my first time working with Beamer.
So my question is a pretty basic one: Once you generate a pdf file from the tex file, how do you present/view the file so that you can move from slide to slide (without scrolling)? Is it possible to do this on a Mac computer?

Every PDF viewer should provide a presentation mode (full screen). Mostly this mode is accessible via menu or short cut. The help function of your viewer should tell you more.

In a Mac, open the PDF file with Adobe Reader. Then press Command-L to enter in full screen mode, which is the right mode to project the presentation through a beamer. You leave this mode by hitting the Escape key. In Preview, things are similar: press Shift - Command - F.

In addition to the postings above I want to mention that you can set the hyperref option pdfpagemode to FullScreen:
