Password protected PDFs

Post by pooja »

Is there a way to password protect a pdf, namely a book (or even an article)?
I'm using texlive-latex-base 2009-10 on Ubuntu 10.10 with Gedit's Latex plugin.
Thank you.
PS. I've tried looking for a similar question in the forum but to no avail.

Has been discussed many, many times here [1-4]. So, next time please search first, then post.
