Bibtex Problem

You can choose from a wide variety of styles to present your bibliography (you can even create your own style). You can get what you desire, for example, using natbib together with the apalike style; i.e., adding in the preamble of your document

Code: Select all

\usepackage{natbib}
and then

Code: Select all

\bibliographystyle{apalike}
Here on CTAN you can find basic information on BIBTeX. Particularly useful documents are the package documentation and the BIBTeX FAQ.
