Can vertical lines be used in conjunction with booktabs?

Post by ptrcao »

Because tabular{l | l | l | l} with \toprule, \midrule and \bottom rule looks really bad. The vertical lines are broken up by booktab rules. Yeah, I know I can just use \hline but I was curious to know if it was possible with booktabs?

The booktabs package aims to produce good looking and legible tables. Read Section 2 of the package manual and you have the answer to your question.
