Hello;
I think I posted this question to the wrong forum before. This is a Lyx question. I did not get much help on this, so I am trying again in this forum.
Original question is here:

called "How to insert new line inside table cell??"
My question is this:
Using Lyx (I am using 2.0 RC1), I create a table, but want to be able to hit carriage return inside a cell and type more text and have it all appear in that one cell only.
I know how to do this in Latex code, using {p} for tables with tabular package.
But I want to do it in the GUI itself. Is this possible? Now, when I type carriage return to start a new line inside a table, it will not do anything and will not let me start a new line.
I like Lyx so far, but without the ability to start a new line in a table, it is very limited for me.
