No bounding box error: Causes, solutions?

Post by ptrcao »

Please explain.

What is the cause of bounding box errors for graphics? It seems to be dependent on what graphics program is generating. Some programs which produce pdf graphics seem to address this while other graphics programs do not, and latex editor will report an error, and graphic will not be displayed.

Is the provision of a bounding box out of my hands? If the graphics programs are responsible for this, there is really nothing I can do right?

Inkscape has this issue when pdf graphics a produced. Adobe Illustrator does not.
