Fonts & Character Sets

Hi,

I want my file to contain "^VP".
I tired \^VP in tex file but I get an error message.
I tried using $\wedgeVP but I get a really huge ^. I want a ^ which is the of the size it is in this post.

Just abstain from such special characters in file names and paths. I guess there are many other file names possible.
