BibTeX, biblatex and biber

Hi all.

I would like to clean my bibtex files I produced with 'papers', a Mac program. There are many mistakes, especially in the author strings.

Is there any tool that can handle this?

I would like also to compare bibtex files. What can I use?

I found something myself, which helped me a lot: Bibcut.
