Sectioning in PDF incorrect

Post by farahcc43 »

Hi All,

I'm at a loss. When I generate a PDF via LaTeX=>PS=>PDF, the document's sectioning is incorrectly generated in the PDF navigation pane. Some sections are at the correct level, while others are treated as subsections, despite the fact that the TeXnic center navigation pane represents the section levels correctly. This just started happening and I have done nothing other than add text to the body of the document. It is error and warning free.

I've added a PNG file that shows how sections (chapters) of the document, Implementing and Extending Homology, Algorithm, and Experimental Results, are generated as subsections of the chapter Incremental Change within a Scalar Field.

I am using TeXnic Center v1.0 as my IDE and MikTeX v2.9 as my compiler.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome. Please, start by reading Board Rules and try to construct a Minimal Working Example (MWE) which we can test.
