General ⇒ how to use the package beamer ?

hi every body
i've a problem in using the package beamer , i have an example of beamer and i've the needed packages but i still have problems in latex , i've this message
! LaTeX Error: File `beamerbasercs.sty' not found.

mmm, i put the files in the write palce as i a learn form the guide of beamer , i put the packages in , txmf\tex\latex\beamer ,, txmf\tex\latex\beamer\base
but i have no result and i've the same error msg , plz try to help me how and where to put the new packages exactly to have a work ex.

I suppose you are running under Linux. Did you execute the texhash command (maybe as root user) on the shell console? You need to refresh the file name database. And that's exactly what this command is doing.

i'm rumming under windows , i tried to use th texhash command bit it was a wrong command ,
4 my problem i put the file beamerbasercs.sty in the same floader of the beamer.tex , but i still have other problems the same as the past and all are cause of wrong place of packages , plz tell me where i put them in the write place , or try to help me .

Running under Windows, the mktexlsr command should to the trick. When using MiKTeX, you can start the MiKTeX Options via Start menu and refresh the filename database this way.

I have the same problem mentioned by manoo. But I use OzTex.
This application do not know mktexlsr.
Is there any other posibility to get a nice presentation?
