Hi!!!

Post by GianlucaT »

Hi there,

I am a newbie!

My name is Gianluca and I am trying to move the first steps into LaTeX ... quite hard at the beginning!!!

If you have any suggestions please let me know!

I am using Mac Os X and, for the moment, I installed TeXShop v2.37, TeXworks 0.2.3 and TeXLive v 0.91.

My fields of interest are: dentistry, engineering, chemistry and so on. After the MSc in Materials engineering and the PhD in Molecular Biomedicine now I am working in a Research and Development laboratory of the University of Trieste.

See you around the forum!

Gianluca

Indeed the learning curve will be quite steep. But a special topic lists some stuff to begin with [1]. After reading a bit about the basics you should get to grip with LaTeX.
