Hi All,
I was just told by the School of Graduate Studies at my Uni. that my thesis needs to be in the most up-to-date version of the Chicago style citation. I'm assuming that requires a more updated version of the chicagostyle package.
My question is: how do i ensure that my BibteX is formatted in the correct way?
I really wish I could include the version of my TexniCenter in this post, but I'm not sure where to find the version info (I checked the "About TexnicCenter" and got a lot of info about the creators, but no version). The most I can say is that it's been almost a year (about 50 weeks really) since I installed it.
Thanks in advance

I think you might be better off trying to switch to BibLaTeX and using biblatex-chicago. It's documentation says that it's based on the 15th edition, so not too far off, and BibLaTeX would make customizing (however is necessary for the 16th) easier than it would be with regular BibTeX.
Re: On Chicago 16th edition
Cool. Thanks...
So I looked up the BibLateX. In trying to install it, I decided to go through the MiKteX manager. Unfortunately the file doesn't seem to be there to download; out of all the required files only the etoolbox was there which i download successfully. How can I find the rest?
After this I would then have to download and install the biblatex-chicago package, or is it included in the biblatex package?

What version of MikTeX?
I'm not that familiar with MikTeX, since I use TeXlive. TeXLive 2010 has biblatex and biblatex-chicago in its package manager. I would have guessed that at least MikTeX 2.9 would have it, though I don't really know. (Edit: It's listed here, so at least some version of MikTeX must have it.)

Re: On Chicago 16th edition
Wow. I finally got the biblatex. I needed to click the 'synchronize' button on the miktex 2.8 for all the biblatex to load themselves. Learning how to use the program was another story. But I managed.
Thanks so much for your help.
