Citation - Normal and superscript

Post by pallav »

I have used

Code: Select all

\usepackage[super]{cite}
in my preamble for citation.
According to my journal rule, I have to get both the citation for one article:
see Refs. 1–4
as well as

Code: Select all

has been used in the paper by GreenHalgh,8 (in superscript)
The tex code that I have used are as follows:

Code: Select all

see Refs. \cite{F80,Ks,Ma74,Mu99}
and

Code: Select all

has been used in the paper by GreenHalgh,\cite{GrnH}
For more details, please see the pdf attached herewith.

How to get solution of this problem.

Citation - Normal and superscript

Post by frabjous »

Try using \citen instead of \cite for those you don't want superscripted.

Code: Select all

see Refs.\ \citen{F80,Ks,Ma74,Mu99}
Note the "\ " instead of a regular space is to avoid the larger inter-sentence spacing there. You might also consider Refs.~\citen{80,Ks,Ma74,Mu99} to avoid a line break.
