Problem with the pdf output

Post by Elena »

Hello. I've never used miktex before. Not I'm trying to use Miktex 2.9 and Texnic Center on my laptop with Windows 7 environment. My friend created a project on her computer and sent it to me. I opened it but couldn't create a PDF. I chose the output profile LaTeX => PDF, pressed the button F7, but I got nothing. It seems I have no any mistakes in my project. I found in the output window information: "pdflatex.exe: Invalide MiKTeX Configuration". What does it mean? Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for any help.

Now that the problem is solved, please be so kind and mark the topic (not the last post) accordingly as clearly written in Section 3 of the Board Rules (to be read before posting). Please keep that in mind for the future so that further reminders will not be necessary.

Best regards and welcome to the board
