MiKTeX and proTeXt ⇒ Problem with a package that tries to update continuously

Hi I recently updated Miktex, and now when I compile with PDFLaTeX using WinEdt, I get this message in the compiling command prompt.

It does this everytime I compile. In the end it compiles fine, but this updating seems to really slow down the compiling process. For some reason it seems like it can't update this package. Does anybody know a fix for this? Is there a way to disable automatic updating when you compile?

Try a compilation on the command line. Consider to do a full MiKTeX installation. And by the way, there is MiKTeX 2.9 as the most recent version.
